Cool idea man! I don't know if I can get my band to come, but I'd like to. Would we have to play instrumentals only, or would "normal" cover songs do it as well?

Jemfests are open to all genres of music. Cover songs have been played, but most bands that do have originals too.

Vorsprung Durch Teknik!

It just so happens that a new low-cost airline service has opened with flights from Manchester to Cologne from as little as £12.99 one-way... including taxes!.

http://www.hlx.com/en/index.shtm

I've been into their website and availability for the 18th insn't a problem and booking so far in advance allows a there-and-back weekend trip for less than the cost of a train to London £25.98!

So. I'm going to pack my lederhosen, stick a Jem in my suitcase and go to Cologne!

Of course ALL music is welcome!!! Since it is a guitar festival we have some tendency to guitar dominated music of course. Also usally a kinda virtoso guitar playing in either a solo or band context brings some certain level of the other instruments as well that please others in the audience that are not guitar players.

We are limited to one day and also one set of bands in the evening. Please send me your demos soon if anybody wants to play.

Ricky Garcia
