Jemfest Jam Songs - Input needed!

Please post your "Jemfest Jam" suggestion songs. *For instance:

"Voodoo Chile in E" ...or something like that.

I'll work on getting the jam organized and ready. *If we have lots of suggestions then we'll poll the suggestions and get the top winners.

I'd like to get a list compiled soon so if you want to jam to a particular song, you have time to practice. *Please specify which key to play in too. *

If you are the one who chooses a particular song, you'll be in charge of starting the song. *I'll help out getting the necessary band support such as bass, vocals, and drums and let you know if it can be done. *Please let us know if you will sing the song or not. *You'll be assigned a certain amount of time based on how many interested people we have.

I really want to give everyone a chance so we will have some songs that are not organized at the end of the fest.

If anyone sees a song suggestion and can play bass, drums, or sing to it, please post.

If you don't want to post it then E-mail me your suggestions at gabe@jemfest.com.

Lets hear the suggestions!

Gabe

Jemfest Jam Songs - Input needed!

Sometime this weekend I will upload an mp3 of a little groovy/bluesy/funky progression for everyone to check out and let me know if it's worth using. *If it is, I'll upload the tab (bass & guitar) as well.

Jemfest Jam Songs - Input needed!

Here's my little offering:

http://www.geocities.com/gb156/home.html

Download "Jemjam.mp3" and let me know if you want to use it for the jam at Jemfest. *I can post tab for the bass and guitar if anybody wants them. *I can also bring a cd with the progression repeating.

Comments/suggestions would be appreciated!

Should I have started a new thread?

If I go to Jemfest, I can fill the bass shoes for Pull Me Under (but not the equipment) or sing. *I sold my bass stuff.
Im not sure if I'll be there or not, so I wont suggest anything till I am sure.
Wedding is postponed for maybe another year, just might take a road trip to Fla. in it's place.

I've been trying to talk Bob into doing his version of 'Jibbom' titled 'Jibbob' for Jemfest. *Shouldn't be too hard to get the backing track for that song!

I'll make sure I bring the backing track and whoever wants to play around with it can...

Ask me again about an hour after we crack open that bottle of Bookers. I’ll probably say yes.

How could you guys possibly resist the G3 version of "My Guitar Wants to Kill Your Mama"? It's a great riff, it has harmony guitars/ vocals and lots of room to jam.
