Jemfest UK 2003 jammers, anyone interested?

I've decided i am going to jemfest 2003 with andy (jammy) n i think anton is goin with andy so anton too

Errrr im lookin for some intermediate jammers to agree with a tune to play. I mean lookin for not total beginners but not like steve Mk II

any ideas for a tune? I'm thinkin either heavy metal or hard rock tinged. More importantly, anyone up for it? Anton perhaps?

Cheers

Nick

The jam session involves a backing band playing a selection of songs and people come up and play a song

last year we played
hard to handle
la grange
paranoid
white room

My band will be the jam session band again this year and are working on a few more jam songs.

If you come up with anything in particular then let me know and i can see if my band can learn it.

Cheers

Simon

current jam songs might include:

Hard to handle - Black Crowes/Otis Redding
Paranoid - Black Sabbath
La Grange - ZZ Top
Purple Haze - Jimi Hendrix

Just popping out for a piss - Cereal Killer (a jam in G minor)
Bad Sandwich - Cereal Killer (a jam in E minor-ish)

so get practising those solos!

For each song you are likely to get a section rather than the whole solo so have a practise at several bars and maybe more

What key are the other songs going to be in.

Hard to Handle in B if I remember.

Just a question so some of us lesser abled pluckers can work out some licks.
