hmmm rockers...

tried to sell a UV7BK with homemade swirl job (including a dull grey colour!!) as a rare UVMC and wouldnt listen to suggestions that they might be wrong.

Herman Li and myself went shopping one day and were confronted with a guy who said he was an Ibanez expert as "I have a RG550!!"

He was then a little hazy on Jems, UV, USA custom J-customs etc. when I say hazy he didnt really even know about the models on display in the shop or anything else. He left us to it when Herman started to play and when we told him what guitars we had

Sorry this has turned into a bit of a rant but I dont think they are that great a shop

if you want an ibanez dealership from denmark street, it's rockers or rose-morris. those are your choices.

on the other hand, why not give coda or machine-head a call? they're not *that* far away, and they're both great clueful stores.

1. yes upstairs
2. no, good for Jackson though

Over the last couple of years at Jemfest UK prior to the Friday night drinking fest (and meet everybody session) there is often a tour of London's Denmark street and surrounding area guitar shops.

I expect this will be happening again-details will appear in this thread

Just wanted to let you know that since the begining of this year Turnkey or Sohosoundhouse is an Ibanez dealer and they have quite a few Ibani in stock.
They are also the friendliest bunch of guitar dudes on the block.
There is a german guy that I think runs the guitar deartment or if he doesn't he is at least a duty manager - real cool guy.
They are also the only shop in the area with good pointy guitars at relatively cool prices.

Also give the Wembley Guitar Centre a chance as they are the least expensive London based Ibanez store.
Best Jem prices as well at around £1550 - which for the UK is a very good price.
The only other serious and repectable shop with good prices is GAK in Brighton.

ilia

p.s. Ibani
