Jemfest US 2003 MP3 streaming audio (TESTING!)

Hey guys!

I just installed a streaming MP3 server here in Houston which I have online in the next couple of days for testing and see if we can work with that for a possible audio stream of Jemfest in Orlando 27-28 June. Please let us know how it works for you so we can get some experiences with this software!! When I have the server online and running I will indicate here:

ONLINE!! at 40kps, 22.050kHz, Stereo

I only have some of my songs running so far since I am not sure about copyright rules.

They work... they just sound like they're playing on a cheap AM transistor radio buried under a thick blanket.

40kbps is a pretty low bitrate for audio streaming. Things only start to sound acceptable at 96kbps, if you can manage the bandwidth.

Thanks for checking out! I can pretty much set any bitrate I want... I am planning to have up to 5 servers running at Jemfest and even this upcoming saturday for the MINIfest.. that way I can increase the bitrate.
