Think I have a 16 channel Mackie PA with all the goodies plus possibly a brand new Pearl Kit, just need one of the organizers to contact me so I can pass the info and contact on.

If you don't have my number it is listed here.

Hey Brian, Sorry I didn't get back with you. It's been really busy here. Thanks for your gear loan offer. We have a drum set and PA system in negotiation for rent, and if you could loan us a set that would be incredibly wonderful of you. That way we'd probably just rent a PA. I don't know if Bob's flying or driving at this point and therefore don't know if he has any gear to bring. I'll try to contact you Brian this evening or tomorrow afternoon as well as Bob to work out the details. Could you give me the model number of the mixer? Just want to make sure it will satisfy our mic needs. Anyone have drum mics we can use?

Gabe

Also, this year, there will finally be the ablity to record the much talked about series of "Jemfest Live" cds. I am sending down my Roland VS1680 (with cd burner and all the fixins) with Iain and one of the Jemfest organizers. We can run the board directly into the recorder and burn the cds in the off time! So yes, "Cereal Killer Comes Alive in the US" will be on the summer release list, as will all the others.

Cheers,
Butch

Yes! Thanks so much Butch! It's gonna rock. Not having a good mix for 50% of the bands last year was troubling for me to make the DVD as you can imagine! Overall, all the songs I chose and ripped audio from video turned out OK I guess.

Ricky and I were talking about the VS1680 last night and trying to figure out how many mics we have, etc. He's bringing a VS880 for his backing tracks and he's familiar with the 1680 quite well. We're going to need a seperate mixer for the drum mics, since there will be at least 4 of them. If anyone can bring a small non-powered 4-6 channel mixer that we can input into the VS1680 please let me know.

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gabe

Ah great man.. I guess we will have to mix down the drums to a stereo-mix in the worst case depending on what each artists brings in other instruments... The Vs1680 has only 8 inputs so we have to dal with that but it will be so much better this time.

You could synch up your VS with Butch's, to get more tracks/inputs (if I remember my 880, of old, right?), except when you're using it for backing tracks, of course
