Well, *I was plannin on goin.. even had a reserved seat on the Gabe fest. but I gave it up to Jeffrey.. BTW, where's my $100.00 for that seat :biggrin:LOL

I decided to pass it up this year. It is with great thought I have weighed this out as Everything in me wanted to go.
But there were too many realities that *I just couldn't justify for the trip:

I already have like 5 vacations planned this year.
1. Jamaica
2. Back home to Michigan for 2 weeks
3. I have a nice ski/fishing boat on beautiful Lake Ouachita nestled in the Ouachita Mountains.
I will be there 2-4 times this summer. I cant see having a nice boat and only using it *a couple times a year...
and there was another trip that I cant recall right now... need to ask the Mrs.

So, with all these trips planned and 1 other anomaly hanging on my head. I regretfully passed up this years Festivities.

It makes it all the more harder after talking to Kevan and him telling me some of the special guests that will be there this year

I plan to be there. Now, back to practicing..... Got to be in top form. Or, at the very least, competent. If I could just pull myself away from the poker table... lol. Any good places to play poker near the airport?

I am hoping to come. *The only problem is, is that I'm in my final year of high school, and exams are coming up the week or so after the Jemfest weekend. *If my marks are cool (which they should be) then I should be there!

This just tops it off for me.

In 1999, it was Ken spewing out little splinters of fretboard as he performed "Comin' Thru" for all of us.
In 2000, it was Adam Fox and his version of "Comfortably Numb".
In 2001, it was Eric Sands playing the extended version of "Hanglider" live.
In 2002, it's Rusty Cooley and his sweeping that makes Malmsteen throw donuts.
