Video tape it - for those who can't make it

Some one should be kind enough to video tape some of the performances and some of the guitars on display for those of us who can't make it (just had to be the weekend before finals huh?) you could sell them I'd buy one. it does not have to be all professional or anything like that. but I bet you could sell a ton if they were nice and the profits could go to manf or in your pocket.

There will be PLENTY of cameras there (just like the last two years). *We will also be doing a LIVE webcast again this year (hopefully faster than 56K! *LOL).

Tapes are available- most folks will post here on what they have available. *"Sell a ton" LMAO! *From JF'99 and JF2K, I've probably dubbed 10 tapes.

Lastly, there is no money "in our pocket" for Jemfest. *If we make a dime, it goes to MANF. *Jemfest is a 100% charity event. *Gabe & I have the CC bills to prove it. :biggrin:

We'll have Jemfest in Texas as soon as I get their state flag painted on the tailgate of my new truck. (Is that some sort of law or hazing ritual down there?:biggrin
Just kidding- it's a definate option. *Not 2001, or 2002, but probably sometime this century.

Oooo...maybe Dell and Apple could sponsor it one year: *titanium laptops and T-3 lines for everyone!!!....live from the Hooters on 6th St.! *

In fact, I’m attempting to organize a mini Jemfest next weekend right here in good ol’ Houston Texas. My home is going through a major remodeling episode. Presently all the carpeting in the entire downstairs is ripped up. No worries about spills. It’s a perfect time for a celebration of Texas Jemsters.

Here’s an idea. We could just throw a party, invite Steve and Joe… and all our Jemsite friends from around the country. We couldn’t legally call it Jemfest without the organizers blessings, but since Gabe lives here now, that’s a possibility. I know everyone has lots of spare money to throw at the airlines for a one evening party in Houston. :biggrin:

Wow, I didn't know there were tapes from the 99jemfest and 2kjemfest !!

I'd really love to a have a copy. But I'll wait till the 2001jemfest to happen before I beg on my knees for a copy :biggrin:
