Ok, I was able to get in but there is that 30 secondes time limit as you guys said. If you type any command the limit should be reseted, though. Anyway I don't know you, but I had to type /ctcp akeelm !guitarstuff in the channel window not !Guitarbackings to get in the command prompt section.

Hope this helps. I'm not an expert anyway so let me know if you find out anything new.

Ok, if you guys are having problems downloading the stuff, I can pass it to you via Direct Connect because I'm not sure if I can send email attachments with such big files. Just pm me and I'll see what I can do.

Anybody want to help a brother out and just post the freakin' mp3s on a website somewhere? I downloaded the stupid mIRC deal and can't get anywhere with it.

Okay, I'll explain. Took me long enough to figure it out...

You connect to an Efnet server. That shouldn't be a problem. Then you type: /join #guitarbackings
Once you're on the channel type: /ctcp akeelm !guitarstuff

That should do it. Then a help file is going to be displayed. Basically you can move around with your good old DOS-commands. Type: cd guitar, cd backing tracks and you're in!

Just have to be quick typing what you want. That goes like this: get "file.mp3", but without the ". You have to type the exact filename. I don't know if that works, cause I'm idle to download something, but I'll post later if it worked...
