A happy birthday track

This is a track I made for a friends 18th birthday. The majority of it is improvised, and it was all devised and recorded within 4 or so hours.

This is my first attempt at putting a track together, so go easy

BTW Big thanks to Jon (weserman) for hosting for me.

its sounding pretty good, especially for a first time recording. I see what you mean with that effect with the fan at the end, it sounds really cool. Keep it up!

Itīs a great song!!!!!!!

It has a lot of feelng, and it sounds very well. The change and the mix of the effects is perfect for the song. Very good job, dude.

I really liked it, lots of feeling like Galaxo said. Heart felt! I loved some of the quick sections, and the tapping.
Is it for a girl by chance?

Sorry If Im being nosy. But if it is, she'll love it, girls always love all that stuff. lol.

Thanks a lot for the replys
Yeah it's for a girl, but shes very much just a friend.
She phoned me up to tell me that it made her cry, and her mum cry. I guess I succeeded.

p.s I put a couple of cool tricks in it I feel like sharing.

1.Didn't have a slide, used the wooden fast fret thing :P

2.Didn't have a chorus pedal, or bother making lots of tracks and detuning and time changing them slightly. So recorded the raked c#minor chord on each pickup setting with my picking hand in three different positions :
Right at the bridge
Around the neck pup
Close to 12 frets above each note (which alone sounds cool enough)

That gave me a really nice natural chorus effect.
The chorus on the second halves rhythm track is built in one from Acid pro.

3.Near the end I held my guitar up to a fan with lots of distortion, and blew on the strings. Gave that cool effect.

chorus pedal , fast fret , neck pup
