Yeah it's for a girl, but shes very much just a friend.
She phoned me up to tell me that it made her cry, and her mum cry. I guess I succeeded.
p.s I put a couple of cool tricks in it I feel like sharing.
1.Didn't have a slide, used the wooden
fast fret thing :P
2.Didn't have a
chorus pedal, or bother making lots of tracks and detuning and time changing them slightly. So recorded the raked c#minor chord on each pickup setting with my picking hand in three different positions :
Right at the bridge
Around the neck pup
Close to 12 frets above each note (which alone sounds cool enough)
That gave me a really nice natural chorus effect.
The chorus on the second halves rhythm track is built in one from Acid pro.
3.Near the end I held my guitar up to a fan with lots of distortion, and blew on the strings. Gave that cool effect.
