Re: A new wallpaper for everyone.. Something simple yet elegant
Nicely done!
Only thing I'd say to make it more realistic, is the tone/volume knob - put 'tone' or 'volume' on it, and make the indentations on the side visible.
Also, I'm not sure about the pole pieces on the h/bucker - maybe too dark...? And I think the base is *slightly* too large, but I'm not certain on that lol.
I think the white bit is also slightly wrong - I think it's bevelled on the edge, and yours looks slightly too thick - might look fine with the bevels though.
But hot DAMN the bridge looks nice - I saw that and thought it was a photo. I like the reflection aswell.
I wish I had the time to learn to do similar things - I learnt to make a chess set in 3DS max, but gave up on texturing it! How did you learn and what programs do you use?

then they can model it LOL..
I didnt do the modeling that was from the virtual jem thing along time ago.. I just textured, positioned, and did the lighting and post work.

Yeah next thing you know....people will be asking for the original
edge trem
, then gold hardware, or Real
Dimarzio Pups
, Rosewood, Ebony or Maple Desktop. Some will probably want more color choices, etc.
