I can't play with my guitar that low. Looks much cooler that way though. I'm more of the uncool Petrucci strap length.

maybe it's the uncool Petrucci strap that holds the key to awesome soloing

yeah drop C

i used to play with my guitar heaps lower until i got my most recent 7 string i found that i had to have the guitar higher in order to playing anything on the high strings,

then when i went to play a 6 stringer i found if i put the strap as high as i did for the 7 that i could play alot cleaner on the high strings

it's helped my solos alot
