bought some gear today...[pic]

hey dudes

well today i got a case of gas so i went and bought stuff

I heard a lot of negative stuff about these behringer stomp`s and i must say im really impressed with the tube overdrive and compressor, the ultra metal is very metalzone ish but i couldnt leave one pedal behind at the music shop so i got that too,

The Delay...well ......if you get one make sure you use a PREMIUM battery otherwise you will get some strange noises..... but thats about it

all the pedals work, they sound great and yea...

Now for the Mic`s well, i usually use my pod xt live and go direct in or my vamp pro, but now i figure i have some propper stomp`s so ill use my mics and the 57 is just awesome for recording guitar...simply awesome, the 58 does a good job at guitar too...

all i need now is a tube preamp and eq and im done...

expect some you tube vids soon reviewing this stuff!

peace

Jim

Cool, looking forward to the vids because I saw those Behringer pedals at my local shop and I've wondering how good they are.

Yeah, I will be very interested too.

I am a huge Behringer fan, and I really like all their gear.
But I have always wanted to hear these pedals before I actually bought one myself, because like you, I had heard lots of negative stuff about them.

I still love my V-Amp 2 to bits though.

Behringer rules! You can't get more bang for your buck than those pedals mate.

I'll agree with you Jimmy on the SM57 -- awesome mic for recording guitar, and TJ Helmerich swears by it too. I'm sure you're familiar with the great sounds that TJ gets, he's badass. Nice buys. Look forward to the reviews.

Looking forward to the Ultra Metal review - quite fancy one of those or a Boss MT-2...

I like the behringer compressor too. I had to crank all the levels to get the sound I like with it but it sounded excellent.

I've got a Behringer compressor/sustainer too, wasn't bad. Have to ask though, does the attack knob on yours seem looser than the rest of them? Mine almost feels like it's broken, can't really tell completely if it's working.
