It's a tribute. He wrote it for MJ. Since when does a tribute need to be a cover?

btw I hear things directly related to MJ. You just have to listen between the lines.

wow, alot of feeling in that...couldn't have been many takes as the mood would have been ruined and you can really feel the mood imo. I couldn't really find the subtle references to MJ but I'm sure they're there as the artist intended.
