listening right now. it sounds really good, and i usually don't like anything that heavy. but that is good stuff. what gear are you using?

I'd buy a CD of that kinda stuff no doubt!!!
What's the gear setup? tone is top notch!!!

I like Dream Theater yes, but I'm not such a big fan of Petrucci, although that's not apparent from this song I tend to drift towards more melodic stuff after a while. Believe it or not, what started me into writing this song was "Tool". But of course, after some time it got a mind of its own.

The tone...if I remember correctly I used a UV777BK through a Pod Pro for this song, I probably used the recto emulation, and inserted a BBE maximizer in the chain. Since it's just a demo I didn't concern myself with miking an amp and preamps, and compressors...

Real heavy nasty sound! I love it...great tone nice use of the wah great technique..fluent phrasing the harmonics are perfect even in the lower strings...11/10

Leo, what pickups are you using? I like the fact that you knew how to get such a good sound out of such an otherwise useless piece of equipment. Most people I hear playing through a Pod make you want to scream to deafen out the torture. However, your tone is great. Hence, I'd like to know which pickups you've got on that clip.

Someone previously mentioned Megadeth and, yes, in the beginning there's an unmistakable Marty Friedman influence and that is a very, very good thing.

I don't see so much Petrucci. I think people say that because you do some stoccato on a bright sounding neck pickup. That doesn't make one Petrucci-esque necessarily.

Anyways, your feedback will be greatly appreciated.
