Re: Cars and Guitars!!
Imported Mitsubishi FTO GPX MIVEC and my DY n' Dinky.
Ilove em all but my FTO isn't child friendly at all and my BMW drinks way too much petrol, so looks like I'll be getting a sensible family car in future.

I dont know how holden (the Australian GM) still manage to sell the 6L V8s nowadays, I geuss some people think its worth it to have a V8.
BTW a super charged V6 kicks a V8s arse and uses less fuel.

Cheers man , although you've colour coded yours !
My FTO is V6 and actualy uses less petrol than my 318i, although it one of the awful auto box beemers so that probably doesn't help.

A freind of a freind just had his HSV (gen 2, 5.7L V8 ) supercharged. Ill be interested to see the fuel economy after that

Ben
take my word for it, DONT start buying family cars !!! PLEASE !
I did that and it was a disaster ! I got myself a typical 4x4 and fookin hated it !
in the end I achieved some sort of balance by buying an ST24 Mundano....
next I have my sights set on a WRX STi - grrrrrrrr
and to hell with the child friendliness ! its a scam mate ! invented by people who invented people carriers !

Re: Cars and Guitars!!
The two "tiny" back seats in the FTO are just plain ridiculous. A baby seat is actualt too bulky to get in there, it's just not feasable to use for anyone other than me.
The Scoob and the Evo are both 4 door yes but I'm pretty sure owning either one of those would get me instant pints on my licence
. There was a ltd edition Skyline that was released with 4 doors but they're hard to get hold of. At the moment I'm looking towards the Seat Leon Cupra, although I'll be forced to get something that my wife likes as we'll have to share this car.

Re: Cars and Guitars!!
Okay....
pics...
I would have gotten a pic with the whole family, but is actually cold here today for a change and I didn't want to have to tweak 7 vines
Sorry for the ~brownness~ of everything. We call it the "Dead Brown Stick Season"! More commonly referred to as winter! Also..sorry for the crappy digi-cam! I keep spending all my money on guitars; )
My truck, and two uncommon beasts
Back of truck w/88 MINT FP and 91 MINT FP!
And no, the plates are NOT personalized. I was wondering why she had a strange look on her face when she handed me the plates
There is actually quite a story behind all that, but that is for another thread
