Clippage: "Steel Blades" - an original solo instrumental

This is a first take on a new instrumental that I just wrote yesterday. It's called "Steel Blades" after the new blade pickups that inspired it. As usual, it was recorded live, no overdubs, no edits. I'm pretty sure that I'll be doing a few more versions of it, but for a first take Im really happy with it.

BTW, don't get sucked in by the false ending around 2:10.

Very nice, Jim. A bit different from what we normally hear from you, but nice. Very catchy melody.

Anyone ever see the Led Zep movie 'The Song Remains the Same'? This song reminds me of that part where Jimmy Page is playing in that sunlit field for some reason! Kind of a folksy/country/JUST SLIGHTLY exotic feel.

The sound reminds me of a bit more 3-D Les Paul, to be honest, with some more snap and clarity.

Any rate, cool stuff Jim. I probably overall prefer the sound of your normal Swans with the Dimarzio pickups, but this is, as I said, nice for a change. And just my opinion
