Re: Demo songs

Oh thanks man. Yeah Jasminto is creating a small Tsunami i might say. Its amazing with little emotions going on and the right moods can do to a musician...
Yeah the tone is a bit satchi, well its my tone actually..lol...
The breeds on my JEM 7DBK are not far sounding to the freds...both pickups are based on the paf pro, But the breed got a little more output than the fred.
On top of that im using the amazing BOSS GS10 effects processor and usb to pc recording tool. http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/products/en/GS-10/
The way i setup the Boss gs10 on Jasminto is like this:
-Marshall jcm800 high gain channel, 4x12 emulation cabinets.
-DS1 boss distortion
-CS3 Boss compressor
-A bit of doubling effect done by A boss digital delay.
-Analog delay
-defretter Boss effect (makes your axe sound like there is no frets on the fin)
On the other songs i use more or less the same setup but with Mesa Boogie R Fier amp.
For drums and bass i use the incredible BOSS DR880.
Cakewalk recording software.
Ibanez JEM 7DBK
Ibanez Prestige RG1570MRR with EVO pickups.
all this setup is in my home studio in Montreal Canada.
But at the end its all in the hands of the player.

Re: Demo songs

Rab some more questions for you. Since the GS-10 has an USB output.....can it also be used to record stereo-inputs to the computer with it? So can I plug a stereo sound in it and then record it with USB? If yes , then how exactly?

Re: Demo songs

Hi Azrael,
This is exactly what the GS10 does. It transfer all of the equipment hooked on to it via usb to your pc for recording.
Its an effect guitar, bass processor (cross between the Boss GT6 and the GT and a recording tool to your pc to use in conjonction with a recording software (cakewalk etc...). It got its own 24 bit sampling chip on board so u dont use your pc sound card.
You can use it also live as an effect processor board for bass or guitar.
I got my boss drum machine ddr880 hooked to it by the stereo rca input so it will transfer the drums via usb to the pc and im taking a stereo output from the GS10 to my stereo syst for playback. You can set the gs10 to use the internal speakers or use the output to the stereo for playback.
You can hook a mic in it, midi equipment etc. its a mixer, effect processor usb out unit.
Not to mention the amazing boss editor software on the pc. You can download sound presets from internet and upload it to the gs10. http://www.bosscorp.co.jp/download/e...APS/index.html
I hope this answer your Question. for more info go to:

Re: Demo songs

Your welcome dude....
No its not that expensive at all..i bought for 550$ canadian plus tax.
Did i mention that u can edit your effects, setup presets, change your amp and preamp on the pc boss gs10 software and it will copy it in real time to the main boss gs10. U can change nobs on the gs10 and u can see them changing in the software on the pc at the same time. wicked!
Also u can record in full effects but in reality u r recording dry on your multy track software..u can add your effects later in the mixing.
There so much that u can do in that unit. Also it got the most powerful amp emulations. You can customise your cabinets, like 4x12, 2x12, 1x10 etc...mike placements like center, corner, distance. u can even creat your own cabinets...like 100x12 for example...
And the quality? 24bit marvel...
Hear my album for yourself.
