I always think Gary Moore is one of the most over rated geetar payers ever to walk the face of the planet.

When I first got into playing I thought he was the dog's but as I got more and more into playing and listening to more and more players the less impressed I became with him, especially his 'blues' playing.

Wow! I think the exact opposite, he is the most UNder rated guitar player for the last 25 years! He can put real emotions in his playing, you actually can feel his playing! Sure there are faster shredders ect. I don't think anyone else can do bends and vibrato like Gary. Jimi Hendrix band (whats left of them) is doing a reunion, out of all the guitar players out there, they picked Gary Moore to front the band. If you like fast mindless fret burning check out his young years.

I find Gary Moore just like SRV... they are great guitar players... but have just a few licks down and just repeat repeat repeat.

after awhile it becomes really annoying.

I don't agree with the statement above ^^^!!! Gary is a world class player one of the very best! He does not repeat the same licks over and over I don't know where you got that from...?!? I got all his albums and I never heard that! cite your sources!!!

I too own 4 Gary Moore albums... and this is why they are called opinions you don't have to agree with them.

I don't own 4, I own ALL of them and for the record you are not stating an opinion here, you are stating a fact! so that's why I asked you to cite your sources and name all the songs where you claim he plays the same licks over and over!
