I guess I should explain myself....
I have been having a problem with my hand/arm. It's been numb/pins and needles feeling. I haven't really been able to play guitar for a couple of months. But recently, I've been trying to play for a few minutes a day (an attempt to torture myself).
Anyway, I figured I would hookup to my amp (Sunday) and try playing a little longer. Since, I haven't been playing....I haven't been recording. Not wanting to forget how I have things arranged in my newly reformatted recording setup, I recorded a little guitar track (the chorus in this "song"). After that I played around with my drum VSTi for a bit...then decided to double the guitar. At that point I figured, what the heck, I'll try playing the bass. Since that went fairly well...I came up with another little progression (verse). Rinse, lather, repeat.
It was after I finished the verse and chorus that I walked out back for a break. There I saw a gopher near my pumpkin patch. I had noticed some gnaw marks in my
pumpkins earlier and figured it was this little bastard that had been eating my pumpkins.
Wanting to complete what I had started, I grabbed my mic and quickly made up those cheesy lyrics. I also wanted to have something to play around with in the DAW for the times in which I couldn't actually play an instrument.
SO long story long....this is the result of some improv goofing around stuff. Plus, it made me laugh.
Finally, since my hand was feeling better Monday, I thought I'd try to play some "lead" guitar. It was then I added the gopher solo and posted it here.
