The DLR Army website has demo recordings of the Eat 'em and Smile tracks. You have to register for the site, it's free though, then click on the Multimedia Downloads link. Might be interesting if you like that Steve Vai chap.

edit: just listened to a couple of these. OMG, the shock and terror of having no solo on Big Trouble. I was poised with
air guitar primed! And then I thought: what an amazing opportunity to play my own solo over the DLR band. It's like being in the room with Dave, Steve, Gregg and Billy. Well there you go: the ultimate backing tracks for your noodling pleasure.
