Eric Johnson Live Austin City Limits DVD

Anybody here pick this DVD up yet? It is awesome! His performance is GREAT. Highlights of the performance: Desert Rose, Cliffs, Camel's Night Out, East Wes, etc....

I recommend every guitarist to go our and buy this DVD.

This performance was recorded back in December 14th, 1988 (I was 12 years old!). I cannot believe that back then, he had these songs written before they were even recorded on his studio releases Ah Via Musicom and Venus Isle.

Great performance by EJ. Definately his best. Go out and get this DVD!

I picked up my copy on Monday, along with the CD. I actually saw a few of the performances when they were broadcast on the Austin City Limits show on PBS back in the day.
It was funny...I found the CD first, and the label said there was a corrosponding DVD...at which point I went back over to the DVD area and grabbed it up.

Nice, guys. Yeah, Im enjoying the DVD alot. His version of "Are You Experienced?" Is awesome. Eric Johnson rules and this DVD is a must have. Too bad he left out "Trademark" though. I heard that he was not happy with the way it turned out.

Picked this one up myself, and like it lots. His technique and command of the guitar is inspiring.

Anybody noticed the cracks in his pickguard? I thought it was his trusty '57 strat "Virginia" but I could be wrong.
