First time sharing my music: opinions please!
Well, i'm here on jemsite since 2001.
Now, for the
"very first time"
, i would like to share a record project.
This was recorded w/ real acoustic drums and my UVPWH.
Effect: my old analog japanese Korg A4 plugged
direct to the DIGI 002 and ProTools.
Some PULTEC equalizers...
Some pluggins i couldn't name or tell...
Some Amplitube or AMPFarm was used, i REALLY don't remember what i did...
All the tone and distortion and delays are from the Korg A4.
All guitars are "double" on both channels (R/L)
Sometimes, 6 guitars playing together
Not yet finished.
No basses.
No voices.
No mixing.
No mastering.
Running time: 2:43min. File size - 2,4Mb:
http://www.jcpharma.com/1.mp3
.
.
.
I need your opinion, please!

Not bad at all! The timing was a bit weird in the beginning, and I got tired of the power chords in what I'd call the intro. But I perked a bit during the "verse". I liked the lead, but I thought it could be brought up in the mix to make it stand out. Because it's an instrumental, I thought the solo should continue until the end of the song. Good job.

Hey, bípede: It isn't an instrumental.
It's a song full of lyrics and voices but the song is not finished yet!
Just hear it again and put by yourself the lyrics, voices, basses and others things that are missing.
You 'll don't be desapointed!
Thanx for your comments!

Yo,man!!!
I don't know how to tell you but, on this part of the groove (with the flanger and spacial effect), i did this riff remembering of something played by PaulGilbert on the final part of the VHS: Intense Rock II.
This is an interesting song played in E with Pat on drums and Sherran on bass, for sure!
When he plays that song, the final credits of the video appears on screen.
Well, some bluesy thing, i guess
Thank you, man!
Tubarão.

Ok, now it works, I must have been trying at the wrong moment.
On the song: You did very well on your first time! Really like the solo, nice wide vibratos and the flanger part brings a nice 'tension' in the song. Very cool!
