Re: Funny Vai accoustic interview from french magazine

That's sweet, definatly a keeper.

Nice to hear Vai take the piss out of the guy He should have just played Smoke on the water to answer a few more questions...

Am I right that I heard the interviewer say: "Very Christian Slater" after playing Bobby Brown? (I hope not...)

Re: Funny Vai accoustic interview from french magazine

Sorry i did it in french because if the interviewer read this he wont have to translate everything i said by a girls . Smart its not a word that he know , (if you listen carefully ,the questions were translate by a girls)
I am French and hope that stupid won't mean French now .

I'm listening to the Satch interview right now. He seems a lot cooler headed than Steve! lol and he plays a few of his own songs which is cool. Check it out.

Re: Funny Vai accoustic interview from french magazine

Joe did an amazingly good job under the circumstances (as did Steve). But I think Joe spends more time playing stuff like that than Steve does. It's pretty much pure crap for a magazine to conduct an interview like that.

I'd love to hear more of both of them playing acoustic. (Playing their own material on their own equipment, of course.) I especially think a full-length album of Satriani playing around acoustic would be great ... though he said it ain't likely to happen since it would take him away from playing electric for too long.

Re: Funny Vai accoustic interview from french magazine

Haha some of those questions were so stupid (I understood them since I am a french canadian ), but I think Vai played pretty good if that guitar really has the action an inch too high.
