I saw that G3 wallpaper available for download on Vai's site, and I thought- that would be fun to doctor in Photoshop- esp. since I have 2 best friends who also play guitar and we get together all the time. So I put our faces on the wallpaper this evening, and changed the names accordingly... fun fun! Very easy to do, especially since it's all black and white... no fleshtones to match (pain). Luckilly, of the only 3-4 digital pics I have of them, I found portraits that would pretty much work for the task.
Anyhow, I thought it may be fun for the Photoshoppers out there to take a stab at other 'wacky' faces that could be put on the ol' guitar gods. I think we did something like this a while back, too....
