Hi guys, was a little bored this weekend so figured I'd work on covering this beautiful track... it's a little rough around the edges but overall I'm fairly happy with it. I went for a similar arrangement to Vai's Orchestral version which shortens the solo and lengthens the intro as it just seems to flow a lot nicer.
I recorded this using my Euphoria EP9 through a PODXT Live using the
acoustic amp and a tiny amount of delay/chorus so for the best part this is very close to how the guitar sounds. The ending was beefed up using a DNA to play some of the harmonies although I wanted to keep the volume minimal and keep it as acoustic as possible!
