Re: Going back to 1989
He was the winner of a contest put on by Guitar For The Practicing Musician magazine. I remember people sending in their tapes (yes, tapes), then for a few months we saw "Who is Blues?" typed throughout the magazine. Then they revealed him as the winner.

Yeah he is/was a cool player, kinda had his own thing, own style. I think he was really young when this record came out. A lot of talent. And a cool name as well...even tho that shouldn't matter...hehe

Re: Going back to 1989
Amazing player, ahead of his time and beyond his years with technique like most great players.
His guitar/amp tone of the time was so pure and clean compared to the high gain of many of his peers....guess his dad knew how to build an amp!
Thats what surprises me most when i revisit this hard to get album.....the guitar tone could of been dialed in yesterday.....still sounded so fresh.

I've always loved Saraceno's tone, and his playing style.
He also made Poison's Crack A Smile album "decent"!
