I may have posted this way back, but I watched it again and thought maybe there are younger guys here who are not familiar with Steely Dan and how good these guys were.
The level of difficulty for a band to play this song - live - like this is astounding.

One of the tightest bands man. I dig their sound.

A lot of the band were session musicians. Only two guys actually are Steely Dan, the rest are hired guns.

Talk about a unique band name. Still love Larry when he was in it.

Yeah, it's good. I dig that gutiar the rhythm player had, it was liek a strat without a pickgard.

I always thought Steely Dan had a nice groove, and cool jazziness no one else had.
