Guess the pedal I'm using... :) (Answer is out!)
Guys!
I have gotten hold of a neat little pedal.. decided to put it to the test, and I'm pretty impressed with the results!
Setup is:
S520EX/RG7621 --> NEW PEDAL (always on) --> TRI AC (clean, as amp sim) --> demeter (For solos) --> DD3 (for solos) --> PC line in.
Mix down with some slight eq-ing and reverb (for leads), thats it!
Make a guess!
MP3 LINK
You guys might be in for a rude shock. Its NOT boutique
Hint above!
Its a stock, Boss MT-2.

Well.... its the only drive pedal thats working....
Notice the TRI AC is on clean so its gotta be a pretty heavy drive pedal!

Too easy Shredcow, now where's my jem prize?!!! Oh sorry thats the other competition...
MT-2 has very distinctive sound, I have one too, but mines a
Keeley mod
and sounds wonderful, both metal and warm at the same time (hard to describe), not as fizzy as stock.
Cool track too, but much heavier than the other stuff you normally do.

Re: Guess the pedal I'm using... :)
haha!
I offered a free guitar lesson to someone back in Singapore, if he could figure out what pedal I used.
Yeap, the MT2 is distinct... but on its own, it had a powerful eq! I was pretty surprised at it when my friend loaned it to me.
The modded MT2 would be great, I can imagine, just less fizz, and tone down the gain, it would ROCK.
Oh... heh... felt restless and saw the MT2 lying around. You wouldn't be hearing more of such from me. :P
