Re: A little photoshop fun.. Whos Playing

Cool. The stem is just a little different (wider and bluer - is that a word, lol) than the others I've seen.

That thing looks gorgeous BRAND SPANKIN NEW! I didn't realize you could get facotry replacement BFP necks.

But then again.....maybe Tom is right....maybe mine is the knock off

Re: A little photoshop fun.. Whos Playing

Well, if it has the floral pattern on the headstock, chances are it isnt a knockoff since only ibanez has/had that print, it was custom made just for ibanez. im guessing your might have faded a bit over the years. This neck has pritty much been in the factory box in someones closet for many years..

I dont know how many extra necks they made, but im guessing not that many since the guitars only had a 3 year run..

at least that what it looks like to me, and it makes sence too since only wood can bend around the curves like that..

I can still swirl it and put a blue mirror guard on it to match the neck, which is what im highly considering. I suppose they could swirl it with a blank guard on it as well, but im not sure how that would work. Plus with as much money I have in this guitar already, im not about to hunt down the much rarer block heal rear routed RG570L.
Just look at this pic.
You don't need to use a fancy blue pickguard covering your awesome swirled body.
Just ask the swirler to make you an cavity cover just like this one:

It's gonna rule!

Tubarão.

That would be all well and good if you couldn't see the cover outline...
