Hey,

I was just browsing youtube when I came across this guy called Gustavo Guerra. I am totally amazed, he is brilliant, his tone, his technique, his creativity etc etc. Well I 'd thought I share my find with my fellow jemsiters!

Re: Gustavo Guerra

Gustavo's a great player There's a clip on there of him playing with Paul Gilbert. I like the fact that he always seems to be a happy chappy and really enjoys playing. Oh yeah, also check out his playing on the baby Crafter guitar.

Yeah, he has such a relaxed attitude and is totally in control. I've been watching his vids for months, he inspeires me to learn satch songs to the note.
I think he's great but he's a bit of a clone sometimes, which is fine because he is also nailing their tone and technique very well, a very difficult task indeed.

Re: Gustavo Guerra

Yeah +1.
I was thinking he can copy Vai's tone so well, it's crazy!

Thumbs up

Re: Gustavo Guerra

Yep, I've been watching Gustavo's videos for the last couple of weeks. He's truely a gifted player. He really inspired me to put more time into devoloping my chops especially after watching "Far Beyond the Sun" on his Crafter Guitar.

Re: Gustavo Guerra

Cesar is great. I have all of his clips saved as flv files on the computer.
I particularly like his two songs Risk 24/7 and Rockin' Red Carpet.

Here's a little trivia on Cesar. At the age of 3 he was playing drums and singing until the ripe old age of 9, then he saw Slash playing guitar on MTV and he switched over to guitar. By the time he was 14 he found out from a school teacher that he had perfect pitch.
He's had no formal lessons. Now don't we all feel better!
