He could have searched for a Guthrie thread and posted the link in it - the thread would have been bumped and you would have read all of it and have gotten yourself blown away with GGs inhuman guitar prowess

I know I am being an ass, sorry, it's just that the search option is a pretty useful one.

Guthrie is absolutely amazing. I've heard plenty of people call him the next Holdsworth, and I do think that's going a bit far, but his songwriting is fantastic, his improv is excellent, his chops are amazing and he has great tone. Now if he'd just release his damn album already I'd be happy.

I think it's slated for a November release. I can't wait! I just ordered a DVD from his manager Noel, too.

"The next Holdsworth", I'm not too sure about that either. It's not a comparison I would have made, but his talent is something very special. I see a little Greg Howe in his playing which is nice.

Hey guys,

I ran into GG by the Guitars Suck videos. He does not only play very well, he's quite something else. He made me have shivers down my spine, and that doesn't happen too often.

I'm definitely gonna keep checking out this guy's music now and in the future.
