She is probably better than 95% of the guitarist here. I think she was endorsed by Peavey for a while. I know they gave her a couple guitars including a Wolfgang and a proto-type of their new HP (Carina).

I don't know.. There are a lot of members that are excellent guitarist/ musicians. Besides, i've heard some of the most complex guitar playing ever from a member here.

I hope she does discourage a lot of players, I've been to auditions where the other guitar "player" should be selling pretzels on the street instead of making noises that offend the senses.
It is amazing to me how some people just have the dexterity from such an early age and have no problems developing the ability to shred like that, and some people have to practice their whole lives just to be able to play half as well.

Yep. Unfortunately, I fall into the later category.

She is really good with an unbelievable amount of control.

It's not how many chords you "know" (just add a note and you've got a different chord..) it's how the chord is played that makes the difference and what chord relates to another chord.

Anybody who's ever try to write a song has probably come probably to the same conclusion.

The more i think i know, the less sure i am of things. I can totally dig a 2 note solo played over a simple groove with attitude and conviction.

I also love weird chord voicings and solo over complex chord progressions with sweeps, alternate picking, lots of legato and Holdsworth kind of licks.

It's all about feel and conviction
