I am about to give up the guitar

I have been learning eugene's trick bag for a while (3 years of and on) I keep having things come up to stop me (birth of son etc, then infected eczema on the ends of my fingers for about 3 months. I finally am able to break out the Jem and carry on practice, and I am pleased with my progress. So I searched youtube for some other peoples examples and came across this:

I hate people sometimes I really do. I find it hard enough on a Jem.

It's half speed though! get off your arse and practice!!!!!! :-)

I've never learned it either, and I've been playing for half my life. Actually, I suck pretty bad for how long I have been playing. I'm taking lessons from a guy who is younger than me, and he's good. It's just time and practice, but most of all it's always making progress and learning something new everyday so that you can continue to grow as a musician.
