I just got into these guys. not sure if any of you have heard them before. the chic is kinda hot / sexy in that goth mysterious way. the playing is pretty good. i downloaded their album from itunes and it's really pretty good. at times the vocals are lame. this video is pretty cool although if i was editing it there would be some stuff done differently and there are also a few cheezy parts with the edits and angles.....but most is pretty good.

Took a listen to them, was quite impressed, great vocals, and yes she was indeed very beautiful.

That guitar player freaked me out too!

is that the chic from nightwish? nightwish is ok but they just don't do it for me for some reason. nightwish to me is too much musical foreplay whereas these guys get INTO IT. nightwish doesn't have enough guitar rhythm or lead work. i also can't stand the vocals in nightwish....she sings with too much of a head voice.

Hahaha, I don't think that dude is an albino... I think he's just Finnish or something. Basically the same thing, except one drinks on an almost constant basis and doesn't have a sun to go out into, and the other can't go into the sun.

But, yeah, I really dig this band. Great proggy metal!

its not really operatic like NW, Epica, After Forever etc...

her voice sounds a bit more like Amy Lee, Marcela Bovio, Astrid van der Veen etc..

not really...these guys are more technically efficient, whereas evanescence (love those guys) are more song-writers, if you will. both great bands, just a little different. i think these guys are a combination of evanescence without the GREAT vocal range Amy Lee has, but with the cool prog metal style.

They really remind me of Nightwish, which isn't a bad thing at all. I may have to look into these a little more closely.

Well, I have to say that they sound NOTHING like Evanescence. The chick's voice might be similar in tone, but her phrasing is much different, and musically... they don't do anything that Evanescence does. That's as ridiculous as saying that if Amon Amarth had a female vocalist, they'd be a rip off of Evanescence. These guys use time signatures other than 4/4, non-Nu-Metal drum patterns, technically sound guitar work, and non-stupid-minded piano compositions.

Other than that, maybe you're right? Except probably not.

Oh, and I'm not trying to be a dick, I'm just kind of exaggerated in my speech.
