Nice, love the tone, very Mustaine from the Youthanasia days...

Couple suggestions would be (as long as you can fiddle with it), change the drum sounds for something more metal oriented, that snare is way too pop... Raise the solo's volume and bring it a lil to the center, its too far on the left...

Is that all the '59? even the solo?

Overall, really nice track, has a nice groove to it

Would you be a Schenker/Scorpions/UFO fan? Sounds a bit like old Schenker. I like it. Guitars sound like a small room to me, though. Kind of "canned" for lack of a better word. Really cool harmonization in the rhythm guitar parts, interesting.

I like the scorps, but I need to search further into the ufo msg stuff. I was really going for a youthanasia Mustain sound actually. The small room sound is b/c I mic'ed really close and added zero reverb to them. You're hearing a slight slapback like "out of the cellar" on every guitar track.

The pickup in the solo was actually a dimarzio H4 in the neck of an rg550dy. It's supposed to be equivalent to a breed neck in the neck.

BTW, I think all rhythm parts should be harmonized as such. it's prettier.

BTW, there's nothing I can do about the drums. they're from a $75 walmart casio. I eq'ed the hell out of them. I tried.

is this a final mix? If not then please do post a minal mix then I'll put my comments. For now, all you need to know is that you need to cut that bass in the guitars.
