[Instructions]: How to save from Youtube/Ggle-Video/etc...

I created this on another forum, thought I might as well share around, I could be SLOW though... Enjoy

Instructions for saving your favorite clips from youtube/google-video/ifilm/Grinvi...

1. Goto http://javimoya.com/blog/youtube_en.php

2. Download the vid (it will be in .htm), change the extension to .flv. Read the instructions on giving the Form a correct URL

3. Use the software call CinemaForge

4. Convert the .flv to desired format. The application supports Flash (SWF), Flash (FLV), Motion Pictures Group (MPEG), Audio Video Interleaved (AVI), Window Media Video (WMV), Real Video (RM), QuickTime (MOV), Advanced Streaming Format (ASF), and JPEG (thumbnails).

5. Start watching

6. Remarks: I converted a 12MB .flv to .avi within 2 minutes. Free shareware. Enjoy...

Two screenies on CinemaForge:

Main Screen

The convertible formats

Re: [Instructions]: How to save from Youtube/Ggle-Video/etc...

EDIT:

OK I figured out Cinema forge:

In the INPUT file selection box, you want to click the little file picture next to it, and select the .flv file you want to convert.

Then in the OUTPUT box, you want to choose a folder to drop the newly converted file into (make sure its a folder you know how to locate.

This is so cool. I freaking hate .flv files.

Re: [Instructions]: How to save from Youtube/Ggle-Video/etc...

yeah i posted something simular some time ago, but i couldn't find a good .flv converter...

You can also just get a .flv-player but i reckon if you could have it in .avi or something simular would be better

you can get the .flv-player here: http://www.martijndevisser.com/blog/...player-updated

anyway, thanks for the info!
