Just letting it rip and having fun...Seems like a really cool, fun, good natured guy. I had a lot of fun watching that. Funny as hell, I have always loved Satch and have even more respect for him now...

I think it does. Yeah, it wasn't exactly the best tone ever but the basic elements of Satchs sound were there on different style pickups, singles not hums, and with a lower quality guitar.

Satch is my hero. Without him and PG I would've stopped playing a year or two ago.

I've seen this vid before, apparently this guy is friends with Satch's son and thats how stuff like this happens. Very cool. And yeah, this is one of those "tone is in the fingers" proofs for sure. Its not EXACTLY satch tone but you could still know it was satch playing even without looking, on a cheap tiny amp with a cheap knockoff strat.
