I've always wanted to record this but unable to do so till I got this toneport,
This is the first song that got me into instrumental rock, so it's an inspiration to me, I thank you Mr Vai, anyway about this song I tried to play like Mr Vai during the first half and blast the crap on my own during second half and extra time

Yes get the toneport, the gearbox is totally sick but I'm not too happy with the recording software, the ableton live lite 4, it only allows 3 tracks?! WTH?! But I love the simplicity of ableton, if anybody knows where i can download the ableton live 4 for free please do let me know. If not maybe I will get the sonar instead

I too have a TonePort. Still trying to figure out how to record though. I bought a 1/4 to "normal headphone size" jack so I could plug my speakers in but it will play JUST loud enough for me to barely hear it when I put my ears right up to the speakers. The Gearbox is awesome though. Very nice playing, and I added you!
