i know i want a drum machine, but how do i use a metronome, in my ear..i always play full volume cuz i love the dynamics i get

get a PC-based metronome and connect "normal" walkman, mp3 player phones to it. Stick one in your ear, turn on the metronome, and you can still play really loud but the click in your one ear will be enough.
