this is oriental melody cover i made. its a song out of the new joe satriani cd
its a part of some satriani cover recordings i started making for fun.

This is some killer cover man! Reminds me of this dude, Dave S (Davester-something on this forum) who had made some great covers on Vai and Satch songs aswell! You make it sound like it's easy dude, you really do. You just came up here, first asking how to upload mp3s here, after that you just blow us away with this stuff. Truly amazing!

I don't really dig the lead tone you used in this song, it could've been more FAT. It sounds pretty thin to me. The rest is all great!

Now, I'm truly gonna scream my lungs inside-out if you come up here with a cover of Belly Dancer...

Predator, thanks very much for your compliments, makes you feel good when people take the time to listen to somthing you played!

to your question, im 20 years old from Israel.

But I should point out somthing regarding my 2 covers - those covers are not the final version - both starry night and oriental melody were played after a few days i dedicated to learning those songs.
If you listen carefully to starry night for example you will find out the guitar is out of tune , the strat was impossible to tune due to string from last year on it

ill record those 2 later with better sound and playing and post it so you guys can check it out and tell me what you think.

p.s - if you find me a backup track for belly dancer ill do a cover for it
