Me, Steve and Joe and a 12 pack
ok, so I am trying to improve tone wise on my first recording. The Animal Snippet was recorded while tanked but I think I got a little better tone. The playing sucks cause I couldnt see the fretboard but oh well. This was mainly recorded with the 6 string..... 7 string during the main riff parts.

In case you didnt hear, this is the first one.

Finally! Thank you very much! One of these days I will record something while sober and maybe I can get down a whole song and nail it.

+1.
That is the best Always With You Always With Me i've ever heard(aside from the man himself ofcourse
) with both the playing and the on the money tone. What kind of gear did you use for the recordings?

Any and all of my recordings will be done with the Line 6
Guitar Port
into Audacity recording software, which is free by the way. I use an Ibanez RG 570 and a Washburn 7 string.

Good job on that. The Animal has always been one of my favorite tracks off PaW. Nicely done and nice playing for being tanked, that's quite impressive. I

it.

Awesome man! I've got Audacity also. Don't know if I can run my TonePort to it though, I just hate the Ableton recording **** it came with.

Thank you very much. I appreciate it. I'll have to relearn the song and try again. My next project is 5150 by
Van Halen

Dug, wow, fantastic playing there. Loved your tone too!. You absolutely nailed Always With You Always With Me, very impressive.
I'd love too hear more of your stuff.
Dug, what pups are you using in the 570?
