Mean acoustic playing
My brother found this video on an
acoustic guitar
forum and I thought you fellas would appreciate it...Unfortunately we dont know the guy's name...but he sure can play the blues! I wish I could play this well on my electric, never mind my acoustic
lol!
Enjoy...

I'd love to get a commercial copy of that. I think that's about the best acoustic
guitar playing
that I've ever heard.

there's a recent post about Tommy in the "players" forum on this wonderful site, with another file to download, showing some beautiful harmonic playing.
The guy's really good

Tommy was a guest on last week's Prairie Home Companion - he was abfab.

I think RealPlayer is the only thing that works for the PHC archive streams.

If you like his acoustic tone, he plays a Tommy Emanuel model Maton. Hand made in Australia. I've played many and their tone is really very nice. Lots of different models to choose from.

Forgot to add:
Tommy Emmanuel
is OFCOURSE under
Steve Vai
's label Favored Nations, like all great guitarists should be.
So there.

The cool thing is, he keeps playing his own backing while soloing or playing licks and tricks over it. I always find it amazing when people do that, especially at those speeds.
Tommy, cruel...

He's playing in my town (Swindon) this Friday (at the Arts Centre - a tiny venue that holds probably about 100 people!) but I won't be back from work in time to go
