Some of the videos of Michael Batio show him to be a pretty regular dude. Seems like a cool guy to hang out with. He definitely has some chops.

yeah he seems cool.

I had video tape lesson of him from a long time ago where he was talking about his picking and how his picks would literally start melting around his fingers. Whoa!

I saw him at a guitar show in Paris a couple years ago, and he was very nice and gentle and cool to chat with. I alo think he is very pedagogical in most of his instructional stuff. And finally I do like some of his recorded stuff. All of this is way more than I will ever achieve in my guitar playing life, lol
