Hey all, I used to a JS1000 into a Zoom GFX8.....into the sound recorder on my computer!!
Not very good quality..as you might expect, you might want to turn down the bass, alot.
Should be gettin a POD or V Amp 2 soon so Ill put some more bits up then...

Your playing is ok but your timing is not on alot of moments. If I were you I'd pay more attention to my timing. Play with a metronome or something like that to get a good feel for timing.

I liked it!
I don't think there's anything wrong with your timing ( I could be wrong...
).
I do believe that your right hand tapping is a bit weaker than your left hand's. Maybe you were doing this on purpose but I personally think that the higher voices should be equal (if not stronger) than the low ones.
Try to work on getting those high notes clearer and as loud as you can.
Good job!

Good playing!
I've only got one thing to say, and that's not a thing you do wrong, but you should think of your rhythm on the second part of the song (where you play B octaves - left hand). The rhythm is not as on the original, nothing wrong with that, but it's very close and it feels like it wriggles back and forth. Don't know how to put it. It sounds like your indecisive. If you play one rhythm stronger, you come off as more secure, which is a good thing!
Edit: Reading it back, and not even one tiny typo!

That's exactly what I ment with his timing. I'm sorry I didn't put it any better.

I thought it was pretty good man!
that tone of Satrianis is a bit strange anyhoo!
The only thing I would say is, ignore these guys!
you timing sounds fine to me, you seem to be trying to accent the crests and falls that Satriani puts in... Which I think is where you're putting yourself off?
Try playing it over and over to the point where it comes totally naturally... at the moment it sounds a tad forced... but its a really cool recording none-the-less

Thanx very much man
Yeh Ive played a thousand times, but its just the bit where you start to play the octave part my rhythm gets messed up because of the two parts
being so far apart.
This makes it sound really weak on the recording..I tryed a few times to correct this but...oh well, I think Ill try playing it like he does on the G3 DVD.
