My attempt to record off a tube amp !

I recently tried to record off an amp for the first time and It sucked.

After getting some great help from blackstratblues@HC-forums and pozydhar@HC-forums, I recorded this new clip.
Kindly excuse playing errors.

setup: RG7620 w/ AN7 in neck position -> mesa single recto head + marshall 1960BV + sennheiser e609 + VTB-1 preamp -> m-audio Delta 1010LT.

suggestions to improve the tone will be great. There is NO EQing or whatsoever, coz I don't know what the hell it means. cheers !

I like the tone as it is now. I think it sounded quite good actually, though was waiting for a real high-gain recto riff to come.

The first one does sound bad. The second one is much much better. I think the "hiss" you here could be from having your mic level too high and you amp not loud enough. Kind of the oposite of what you had before. Just keep experimenting.
