My free '91 RG560

My buddy just gave this to me 'cause he never played it.





Just a few cosmetic dings and pick scratches. The trem, neck and pickups and all the hardware are in perfect condition. Not bad for a free guitar eh? I was thinking about having it refinished in a different color, but the Grape Ice is growing on me, dings and all. What do you think?


I'll post more pics when I get home from vacation. Plus I know I'll have questions, since it"s my first floating trem guitar. If I'm right though it has an original edge and I'm stoked about that. Put that with an original wizard and new pickups, wow.

Looks like a lo-pro which I think would make it a 92..

Well, that"s the thing. The serial number definitely says it's a '91. But it has two instruction booklets, one with the edge and one with the lo pro. I dunno, it could be a lo pro but the '91 catalog said it had an edge on it. I really can't tell by looking yet. Either way I won't be disappointed since it was free.

Well, aside from all the *** comments, thanks guys. Yeah, I'm not going to have it refinished, the color looks great. I just wish I could fix those dings.
