My mate is in a drink driving ad

This interview was shot about a year ago for a dvd that main roads gave to everyone in queensland when they got their license and part of has been featured in a national ad campaign.

The thing is that he didn't actually break his back in the car accident, he broke both his wrists on the steering wheel and hit his head (he's deaf in his right ear now), he got out of the car and walked over the street concussed and passed out standing up and landed flat across a log which broke his back. I won't go into his personal life but this video doesn't show half of the troubles he has trying to live with this injury.

It's sad to think in this day and age people still don't understand the dangers of drink driving. An unfortunate way to learn a lesson, learning it in a way that he will no longer have that choice to make again and make correctly.
