My Mesa Boogie MkIII tone from 1991

Just ran across these clips. I was in a band in '91. We recorded at Fantasy Studios in Berkley Calif. Our engineer recorded Night Ranger, Europe, Journey etc in the day. It was a great treat to work with him.

Anyway. I ran a MB Mark3 combo in to a Strategy 400 power amp into a Boogie 4x12 cab. Back when I thought you actually needed all that stuff. So, here's what it sounded like. There is a guitar solo on each song, about 3/4 the way into it I guess. Sadly, the singer passed away about 3 or 4 years ago.

Please check them out.

Thanks, Darin.

Do you still have it? I have a Mark IV from around '87-'88 (100wtt head). Great clean tones and tons of power to spare.

BTW - your post count is now "777". How fitting for jemsite AND shristian bands

I do not still have it. By the way, I don't think you can get a more powerfull amp than the Mesa Strategy 400. It would power at 4 4x12's with power to spare.

I miss it though.
