Need some software.....

Do any of you guys know of any freeware that will let me slow down an MP3 or WAV without changing the pitch? I wanna learn some particular solo parts, but it would be cool if i could slow em down to get the right note order and phrasing. i guess its a phrase trainer? that sound right? i have audacity...will that do it? thanks for the help...

Never mind. ha ha. Audacity will do that. AND its free. just highlight the part you wanna slow down, click Effect, and choose change tempo. voila.

works excellent on winamps newer versions as well.

thanks for the tip. I found that with audacity, once you slow it down, you can just save the slowed version as an mp3 and take it straight to the ipod. thats workin for me so far.
not really into winamp, but i will look into it now that you told me about that plugin. thanks again.
